Restoration of the Shabbat Begged in the Great Controversy!

A MESSAGE TO SEVENTH-DAY ADVENTISTS:

This study was taken from chapter 26 of The Great Controversy. It is a correct description of what happens today with Adventist Church.

Again, and given the command: "Cry aloud, hold not thy peace, lift up thy voice like a trumpet, and preach unto my people their transgression, and the house of Jacob their sins. "
It is not the wicked world, but it is those whom the Sovereign designates as "My people," who are to be reproved for their transgressions. He further declares:

"Nevertheless, they seek Me daily, take pleasure in knowing My ways, as a people that do righteousness, and do not leave the ordinance of the Eternal. "Isaiah 58: 1, 2.

Here reference is made to a class which judges itself to be just, which seems to manifest great interest in the service of the Most High; but the severe and solemn rebuke of Him who examines the hearts proves that they are trampling upon sacred precepts.

In this way the prophet indicates the ordinance that has been forgotten:

"You shall set up the foundations from generation to generation; and they shall call thee restorer of the breaks, and restorer of paths to dwell. If you turn your foot from the Sabbath and do Your will on My holy day, and call yourself the delightful Sabbath and the holy day of the Lord, honorable, and honor Him, not by following your ways, nor intending to do your own will, nor speak your own words, then you shall delight yourself in the Sovereign LORD. "Isaiah 58: 12-14. This prophecy also applies to our time. The breach was made in law, when the Sabbath was changed by Roman power. (Not only the Sabbath but the calendar fulfilling the prophecy of Daniel 7:25 - He will utter words against the Most High, ... he will take care of changing the calendar and the law) But the time has come for this institution given by the Eternal to be restored .

The rupture must be repaired, and the foundation erected from generation to generation, separated by the rest and blessing of the Creator, the Sabbath was guarded by Adam in his innocence in holy Eden; by Adam, after fallen, but repentant, when expelled from his happy abode.

The work of the reform of the Sabbath to take place in recent times is predicted in the prophecy of Isaiah:
"Thus saith the Sovereign, Keep judgment, and do justice, for My salvation is about to come, and My righteousness to appear. Blessed is the man that doeth this, and the son of man that layteth it; who keeps himself from profaning the Sabbath, and keeps his hand from perpetrating any evil. "
"To the sons of the strangers who come to the Sovereign, to serve Him, and to love the name of the Sovereign, (יהוה YAHVEH) being thus His servants, all those who keep the Sabbath, not profaning it, and those who embrace My I will also bring them to My holy hill, and I will celebrate them in My house of prayer. "Isaiah 56: 1, 2, 6, 7.

The Sovereign commands by the same prophet: "Bind the testimony, seal the law among My disciples. "Isaiah 8:16. The seal of the law of Yahweh Yahveh is found in the fourth commandment. Only this, among all ten, presents not only THE NAME, but THE TITLE of the Legislator. He declares that He is the Creator of the heavens and the earth, and thus shows His right to reverence and worship above all. When the Sabbath was changed by papal power, the seal was taken from the law. The disciples of Yahshuah - יהשׁועה are called to be restored, exalting the Sabbath of the fourth commandment to their proper position as the monument of the Creator and sign of His authority.

From that day until the present, the knowledge of the law of Yahweh has been preserved on Earth, and the Sabbath of the fourth commandment has been kept. As long as the "man of sin" managed to trample on Yahweh's holy day, there was, even in the period of his supremacy, hidden in solitary places, faithful souls who paid him honor. Since the Reformation, there have been, in every generation, the observance of it. Though often in the midst of ignominy and persecution, constant witness has been given of the perpetuity of the law of Yahweh and of the sacred obligation concerning the Sabbath of Creation.

These truths, as presented in chapter 14 of Revelation, in relation to "the everlasting gospel", will distinguish the church from the Mashyah at the time of His appearing. For, as a result of the threefold message, it is announced:

"Here are they that keep the commandments of Yahweh, and the faith of Yahshuah - יהשׁןעה. "And this message is the last to be given before the coming of the Sovereign. Immediately following his proclamation, by the prophet is seen the Son of man coming in the splendor, to reap the harvest of the Earth.

Those who received the light concerning the kadoshim (sanctuary) and the immutability of the law of Yahweh, were filled with joy and admiration, when they saw the beauty and harmony of the set of truths that were revealed to them to the understanding. They wanted the light that seemed so precious to them to be communicated to all; and believed that it would be happily accepted. But the truths that would put them at odds with the world were not well received by many who claimed to be followers of Mashyah. Obedience to the fourth commandment required sacrifice, to which most people would retreat.

When the requirements of the Sabbath were presented, many reasoned from the worldly point of view. They said, "Many good and pious men died happy while they kept it. If they were right, we also had it. The custody of the seventh-day Sabbath would disagree with the world, and we would have no influence over it. "

Paraphrasing: "What can a small group, to keep the true seventh day, expect to do against the whole world that keeps the Gregorian calendar? "

 It was with similar arguments that the Jews strove to justify their rejection of the Mashyah. His fathers had been accepted by the Eternal, when they offered sacrifices; and why could not children find salvation by continuing the same way of acting? ... such reasoning was an effective barrier against all progress in the faith or practice of Scripture.

As the attention of the people called to the subject of the reform of the Sabbath, popular ministers perverted the Scripture, interpreting it so as to reassure the inquiring spirits.

And those who did not investigate the Scriptures themselves were content to accept conclusions that were in accordance with their desires. Through arguments, sophisms, traditions of church fathers and ecclesiastical authorities, many strove to subvert the truth. The defenders of this one were compelled to Sacred Scriptures to defend the validity of the fourth commandment.

Humble men, armed only with the Word of truth, resisted the attacks of men of knowledge, who, with surprise and wrath, perceived the inefficacy of their eloquent sophisms against the straightforward reasoning of those who were versed in the Scriptures instead of it in philosophical subtleties.

Today, as in previous centuries, the presentation of any truth that reproves the sins and errors of the times, had aroused opposition.
"Everyone who does evil hates the light, and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. "John 3:20.

Formerly the Sovereign declared to someone who spoke in His name:

"The house of Yahshurum ​​(Israel) will not hearken to thee, because they will not hearken unto me. "Nevertheless, He said," You shall speak My words to them, whether they hear or not. "Eze. 3: 7; 2: 7.

The great obstacle both to acceptance and to the promulgation of truth is the fact that this implies discomfort and rebuke. This is the only argument against the truth that its defenders have never been able to refute.
We should choose the right, because it is right, and with Yahweh יהוה leave the consequences.

To men of principles, faith and boldness, the world owes the great reforms. By such men the work of reformation must be carried forward for this time. Thus saith the Sovereign:

 "Hearken unto me, ye that know righteousness, ye people, in whose heart is my law: fear not the reproach of men, neither be troubled by their reproaches: for the moth shall gnaw like a garment, and the beast he shall eat them like wool; but My righteousness shall endure forever, and My salvation from generation to generation. "Isaiah 51: 7, 8.

SHABAT OF THE GREGORIAN CALENDAR OR SHABAT

The importance of the Sabbath as a memorial of creation shows that He is the Creator, and we are His creatures. On the true Sabbath lies the foundation of true worship.

The shabbat expression of creation goes back to the day when the two lights were set to mark the days, months, and years. Not only that. The Scripture brings in this text, the Hebrew expression מועדים "moadim" meaning - sacred times of the perpetual commemorations of Yahweh.

The beginning of the months, the first crescent, is called the new moon, or rosh chodesh, (head of the month), and comprises the revolution of the moon around the earth in the period of 29 days, 12 hours, 44 minutes. On every new moon, the gate of the court opened for worship, just as on every seventh day after the new moon.

"Thus saith the Sovereign LORD, The gate of the inner court that looketh toward the east shall be shut up during the six days that are of work; but on the Sabbath day it will open; also on the day of the new moon it shall open.
And the people of the land shall worship at the entrance of the same gate, on the Sabbath and the new moon, before the Sovereign LORD. "Ezek. 46: 1 to 3

The revolution of the moon around the earth (the month), every seven days has four changes of phases of the moon, and each is a shabbat, so we see that the Sabbath is much more than a random day in a calendar common, but a visible sign in the sky. Each shabbat is a time-frame marked by the position of the moon in the sky!
In this way anyone, anywhere on the planet, under any circumstances, could look up to the sky and see the sign of the Sabbath!

The Sabbath is the seventh day, counted from the new moon! On the next new moon, the first crescent of the following month, the revolution of the moon begins again, and the counting of each Sabbath, thus breaking the weekly sequence imposed by the Gregorian calendar, Roman and papal, which bears the name and title of its creator - Pope Gregory.

This is the "reform of the Sabbath" to which Ellen White refers in this chapter of the Great Controversy. The return to the true Sabbath of the immutable law of the Eternal Lord!

"Until heaven and earth pass by, not a comma, or yod-י, (except Hebrew letter), will be omitted from the law." Mat 5:18.

"Forever O Sovereign, Thy word abideth in heaven." Psalm 119: 89

"Play the trumpet at the Feast of the New Moon (beginning of the month) and at the full moon (shabbat), the day of our Feast. It is a precept for My people, and a prescription for Yahshorum (Israel). " Psalms 81: 3 and 4

"He (The throne of David) will forever be established as the moon, and will be faithful, like My witness in space. Psalm 89:39

"He made the moon to mark the months, ... Psalm 104: 19

"There was a great sign in heaven, a woman clothed with the moon under her feet, and a crown of twelve stars on her head." Apoc. 12: 1

The woman represents the followers of Yahshuah, is built on the foundation of the 12 tribes and the 12 apostles, the sun is the light of the word of truth and the moon under the feet, shows that the truth of the calendar would be restored!

For as the new heavens and the new earth that I will do, they will stand before Me, says the Sovereign, so shall your posterity and your name be.

And will it be that from one Feast of the New Moon to another, and from one Sabbath to another, all flesh will come to worship before Me SAYS the SOVEREIGN! Isaiah 66: 22, 23
